How we research and publish the reports

  • Reporting week: each issue covers the seven days to the Sunday shown as its “week ending” date, and is published early the following week. Issue #1 covered 10–17 July 2026, before the Sunday schedule began.
  • Sources: transaction data from the Dubai Land Department and analysts such as Projectory, research from Savills, betterhomes and Property Finder, and Australian sources including the RBA and Smartraveller. Every report links its sources.
  • Australian lens: AED figures are converted at the AUD/USD rate stated in each issue, because the dirham is pegged to the US dollar.
  • Corrections: if a figure is revised by its source, we note it in the next issue.

Dubai Property for Aussies connects Australians with an experienced Dubai-based property agent. The reports are general information, not financial, tax or legal advice.

Questions

Dubai property market reports: FAQs

What are the Dubai Property for Aussies market reports?

They are free weekly reports on the Dubai property market written for Australians. Each week we publish a Weekly Intelligence Report with in-depth analysis and a shorter Market Snapshot that summarises the key numbers in Australian terms.

What is the difference between the Weekly Intelligence Report and the Market Snapshot?

The Weekly Intelligence Report is the full analysis: key developments, opportunities, a risk register, Australian implications and sources. The Market Snapshot is a quick read built on the same week’s research, focused on the headline figures, rents and yields, and what they mean for Australian buyers.

When are new Dubai property reports published?

A new issue of both reports is published early each week and covers the week ending the previous Sunday. Every issue states its reporting week and lists its sources.

Where does the data in the reports come from?

The reports draw on published sources such as Dubai Land Department transaction data (including Projectory’s analysis of it), Savills, betterhomes, Property Finder, the Reserve Bank of Australia, the UAE Central Bank and Smartraveller. Each report links to its sources.

Are these reports financial or investment advice?

No. The reports are general market information for Australians researching Dubai property. They are not financial, tax or legal advice, and you should speak with a licensed adviser about your own situation.
